Entertainers and musicians for your event, booked in one place

Booklier is an online marketplace where you find, compare and book independent providers for an event: children's entertainers, magicians, face painters, musicians and more. We are opening to customers in Ireland first, then the UK. Providers are joining now.

How it works

1. Choose a service and your area, and look through the providers who cover it: their prices, photos and reviews from customers who booked them.
2. Send an enquiry. It is free and commits you to nothing. You agree the details with the provider in a chat on Booklier.
3. The provider sends you an offer with the price, the date and the deposit. Paying the deposit by card confirms your booking.
4. You pay the rest of the price to the provider, usually on the day.

What it costs

• Customers pay no booking fee. You pay the provider's price and nothing on top.
• Providers pay nothing to join or to be listed. Booklier's fee is a commission taken from the deposit of each booking made through it.
• Providers can also use Booklier's booking system on their own website, for a small fee on each deposit paid by card.

Deposits, cancellations and refunds

• Deposits are paid by card. Card payments are handled by Stripe, and Booklier never sees your card number.
• If you cancel, the deposit is not refunded, because the provider kept the date free for you.
• If the provider cancels, you get your whole deposit back to the card you paid with, usually within 5 to 10 working days.
• If the provider doesn't turn up, or the service is clearly not what you booked, you can report it on the day or within 2 days after. We ask the provider for their side, decide, and tell you both why. Where we uphold the report we can refund your deposit.
• The providers are independent businesses: your contract for the service is with the provider you book.
