Offer a service? List it on Booklier, free

Getting started

How Booklier works for you, joining, and what you need before your first booking.

How does Booklier work for a provider?

Customers choose a service and an area, and see the providers who offer it there. They send you an enquiry, you chat with them on Booklier, and when you have agreed what they want you send a booking offer.

The customer pays a deposit by card to accept it. That is the moment you are booked. The rest of the price is paid to you directly on the day.

Joining, your page and enquiries are free. You only pay when a customer books you. The provider guide sets out what it costs.

How do I join?

  1. Go to List your service and make your login.
  2. Fill in the short form. Your page is made straight away, as a draft only you can see, and your dashboard opens.
  3. Finish your page from your dashboard: photos, your About section, packages and prices, and where you work.
  4. Set up your payouts in Payouts from Booklier, so deposits can reach you.
  5. We look at each new page. Yours goes live once it has our go-ahead and your payouts are set up, and you get an email when it does.

What do I need before I can take a booking?

  • Payouts set up. In your dashboard, open Payouts from Booklier and press Set up payouts. Stripe, the payments company, checks who you are, as the law requires. It takes about ten minutes and you need your bank details and a photo ID.
  • At least one package with a price, so customers know what they can book.
  • Your services and the areas you cover, so you appear in the right searches.

Until payouts are set up a customer can still enquire, but you cannot send them a booking offer.

Who can see my phone number and email address?

Nobody, until a customer has booked you and paid their deposit. Then you each get the other's details.

Before that, contact details typed into your page or into a chat message are hidden from the customer. This is how Booklier stays free to join: it is only paid when a booking is made through it.

Where do I find things in my dashboard?

  • Messages: every enquiry and booking, each in its own chat.
  • Your page: what customers see about you, with a section for each part, your insurance and your page strength.
  • Money and standing: your payouts, your commission rate, any points, and your reviews.
  • More: working with other providers, and messaging Booklier.
